Jonathan Mejia is a bilingual (English and Spanish) journalist. Mejia currently is a multimedia journalist in El Paso, Texas. While in the Borderland, Mejia has covered President Biden's visit to the border, major breaking news like the second mass shooting in El Paso, and through his accountability reporting, Mejia has been able to get El Pasoans thousands of dollars back into their pockets. Living near the border has made immigration Mejia's strong suit; through his deep sources with federal law enforcement agencies, Mejia has been able to land major exclusives such as his fly along with both Border Patrol and Texas Department of Public Safety; and joined the Department of Homeland Security's Anti-smuggling unit on an operation against stash houses in El Paso.
